The East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers' area [EYDA] is geographically sub-divided into a number of local groups. New members are allocated by home address (based on their parish) to their nearest group unless they request otherwise. We also have a group for Ramblers in their 20s and 30s called Get Your Boots On, and a group for Ramblers in their 40s and 50s called Midlife Hikers, and these groups cover the whole of the area.
All Ramblers members in the area are welcome to join in with the activities of any group. Members of the public are also invited to take part as guests in all our activities.
As well as helping to produce our area programme of guided walks, groups undertake public rights of way surveys, path maintenance parties and other pursuits. You can find a full list of our walks in the walks diary.
