East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

P1040443Additional to our splendid coastline, lovely inland areas include the more wooded south-eastern part of the North York Moors National Park, the Vale of Pickering and the northern Yorkshire Wolds.

Walks take place on most Sundays of the year and there are mid-week evening walks in the summer. You can see these on the Scarborough web site by clicking WALKS.

Social events include regular meals out and theatre trips, and group holidays are also organised.

For a map of our group area and to see the parishes within it click Scarborough.

If you are interested in becoming a member and reside in one of the named parishes on the map [essentially post codes YO11, YO12, YO13 and YO14] you will be allocated to our group, unless you state otherwise. Once a member you are eligible to walk with any Ramblers Association group throughout the country.

Our group has created a local website http://www.scarboroughramblers.org.uk/

Photos from Area Camp 8th - 11th June 2018

Organised by Wayne and Donna Dosdale, our Area Camp was in the Lake District using facilities at Gill Head Farm Campsite, Troutbeck, Penrith.

Good walks and great weather reflected in the photographs that were taken. To view photos and route maps click HERE
