East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

A great day for staying indoors, so Linda Gall must have been hoping that everyone would do just that and not show up for her 8 mile walk from Caulkleys Bank near Nunnington.

However, four intrepid ramblers joined her for a soaking on the route to West Ness, East Ness, Nunnington and back to Caulkleys Bank.

On a sunny day it would have been lovely but all everyone could do was imagine, and remember how summers used to be before the jet stream lost its way.
