East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

Eight members joined leader Jill Wiseman for this Tuesday walk with a difference. After catching the bus from Sutton on the Forest to Wigginton Lane End, the linear route went through Moorlands nature reserve near Skelton before arriving back at Sutton on the Forest, where unfortunately the teashop at Sutton Hall was closed.

Despite that, all enjoyed the walk and Bill even found time to hug a tree, Anne amused herself by pushing sticks through a knot hole to a little boy on the other side, and everybody found a toadstool to sit on. Proof, if proof were needed, that you're never too old to enjoy the little pleasures in life!
