East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

A cool, pleasant morning at South Cave as 18 members arrived for a 12 mile walk led by Alex Gymer.

Heading out across the golf course to Everthorpe, then on field paths to North Cave, the group walked through Hotham Hall grounds into Hotham and onwards to the outskirts of Cliffe Dales farm for a lunch stop.

Resuming, a different route was used for a return to North Cave, continuing on through Drewton Estate and Little Wold Plantation before descending into South Cave.

A comfortable 12 mile walk deserving of refreshments at The Gallery Tearoom/restaurant.
