East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

The rain started as 7 hardy members set off from North Cave , led by John Batham - and after 11 miles of walking, it eventually stopped raining, just as the group were arriving back at the village.

It was 'water, water everywhere' throughout the walk, as the group went firstly, through North Cave Wetlands and later along Market Weighton canal. Otherwise a flat walk with decent underfoot conditions -  interspersed with occasional puddles of water!
