Anticipating a pleasant walk or perhaps good food, 19 members arrived at Gate Helmsley for this 6.5 mile walk led by Ken Walker.
On both counts everyone was well pleased. A walk through enjoyable countryside, including Hagg Wood had good conditions underfoot with freshly cut grass tracks, courtesy of Ken's rapport with local farmers.
Parts of the route and some of the villages were new to members.
This was followed by an enjoyable meal at the The Duke of York Inn.
